Kate Hurd, LCAT, RDT/BCT

Kate Hurd is cofounder of Off Center: A Creative Space for the Arts in Psychotherapy, where she has a private practice. She is a Co-Director of the Institute for Developmental Transformations, former Training Director of the Institute for Developmental Transformations in both San Francisco and New York City, and has taught DvT in NYC, San Francisco, China, The Netherlands, England and Belgium. She is currently a Creative Arts Therapy Supervisor at Kings County Hospital and a former President of the North American Drama Therapy  Association. She believes in the power of creative expression as a means to reflect, gain insight, and promote resiliency and the use of improvisation and discrepancy as avenues of discovery through co- creation between client and therapist.
